BALTIMORE -- Baltimore City spent another weekend contending with an outbreak of violence. Three people were killed and two others were injured in a seven hour span, according to police.
That's seven more homicides over the past 7 days ... not counting the number of non-fatal stabbings, beatings, GSWs and drug overdoses over the same period of time.
The latest homicide victim was an unidentified 25 year old man who was shot and killed at about 3PM this afternoon (Sunday afternoon) in Northeast Baltimore. Police said the killers fled in a vehicle.
