The transmission won't go into gear because something like a solenoid is stuck. And the replacement engine's starboard riser is cracked and sprays water all over the bilge while the engine's running (this type of thing can contribute in a huge way to sinking) .
Last but not least, the replacement engine's fuel hose leaks gasoline into the bilge (this type of thing can contribute to ... oh, never mind).
