The hardest job in the world ...

... isn't trucking heavy loads over ice roads in Alaska and it's not crab fishing in the Bering Sea.

The hardest job in the world doesn't have anyting to do with being a spouse, a parent or even with being President of the United States: there's one job that's much harder ... and carries more responsibility and accountability ... than all those other jobs combined.

The hardest job in the world has got to be preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the "religious" and "churched" people who already know what church is all about and who feel certain that God must feel lucky to have them on his team.

If you're already feeling huffy or self-righteous about "the way church and religion ought to be," be sure to read Galatians 5:1-12 in the meantime.
